This is the best option for those students that have just arrived in Australia. The routine with an Australian family makes the learning process much easier. This is a great option for students that have been living in Australia for a longer period. Finding share accommodation is very easy, even more when you are attending school, there is always someone looking for people to share a flat, and you can also find information on school news’ boards.
Accommodation in Institutions
Some of the institutions in Australia have their own accommodation; which can be use by the students. These facilities include single or shared bedrooms, study areas and toilets. Students living in these facilities may buy their meals in the school canteen.
Backpackers
This is maybe the cheapest option for those travelling around Australia. Usually, rooms are designed for 6 to 8 people sharing. There are also single rooms. It is a good way to meet people from different countries and cultures. The prices start from AU$25 per day in a shared room, and AU$45 per day in a single room, varying according to the locations and seasons.
