Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, is nestled on the banks of the majestic Swan River and overlooked by Kings Park. With a population of over 1.6 million people, Perth is a modern, vibrant and cosmopolitan city - making it an ideal place to study!
Perth beaches have ideal conditions for families, diving and snorkelling, and of course for surfing too. Margaret River, with the World Qualifying Series –WQS, and the marvellous Rottnest Island are a ‘must stop’ destination.
Finding a job in Perth it is easy due to its steady growth and development; Perth is a resource city with mining, agriculture and education being the back-bone of the economy.
Good tourist points in Perth are: the AQWA (the Aquarium of Western Australia with submersed tunnels), the Museum of Western Australia (with aboriginal art and others), Kings Park, Cottesloe Beach, Pinnacles Desert, plenty of great restaurants; bars and nightlife, and interesting neighbourhoods make Perth - It’s a very active city, etc.
